Start by getting involved in the activities and interest you already love, whether it's an online T-Swift fan club or a local volleyball league. Being the new kid in the group will feel weird at first, but remember, you're all there because you share the same interests. If you already feel overwhelmed with extracurriculars and still aren't connecting with people, it might be time to step back and re-evaluate how you act around others.
Instead of heading straight home after a game, invite some teammates out for pizza. The more time you invest in getting to know others, the easier it is for them to see you as an A-list friend. Just because someone doesn't obsess over BTS the way you do doesn't mean you can't be friends. Keep an open mind when it comes to making new buds. Sometimes it's good to have different interests than your friends.
